Monica Cruz's tangled community tree roots and a misanthropic desire to be served inspired her to run for the 15th Congressional District in Texas. Monica was born and raised in the RGV. She understands the number of dreamers and energetic, hardworking undocumented people exceeds the number of lazy citizens in District 15 by more than 100%. Heavily gerrymandered District 15 is a thin, severed finger, extending from the southernmost border of Mexico to the center of Texas.

Like most Texas Republicans, Monica de la Cruz has an agenda. She will protect the right to carry larger weapons under a big Constitution blanket. She supports common-law gun control, such as conducting general background checks on all public and private gun sales, banning gun displays, and restricting automatic and semi-automatic weapons to well-regulated militias required by the constitution. This means the Air Force, the Army, the Marine Corps, National Guard and Navy. She hopes to see Texas expand its wind and solar farms from the border of Oklahoma to the Gulf of Mexico. These private energy sources can make Texas the world's largest energy supplier.

Cruz Hernandez will build a canal and move Battleship Texas to Town Lake to make Austin great again. In the process, it will be restored to a full working condition so that the southern border can be protected at a far remove. When fully recovered, the Battleship Texas will be able to throw 500-pound shells all the way to Mexico City. By declaring all inland waterways to be part of the US Navy, Texas will have the full legal authority to deploy Battleship Texas for defense.

She plans to redesign the navy uniform worn in Texas. They will be of white buckskin leather having eight inches of white tassels on the trouser legs and arms. Red and blue Texas stars made of shiny sequins will adorn the front and back of the uniform. The uniform hat will be a 10-gallon white leather hat with a handmade black leather belt as a hat strap. On the front will be a silver oversized belt buckle with embossed long horn bull. Monica Cruz said “in basic training all sailors will learn to move like Elvis.”
